Rice Buried in Orange Bram

Ingredients

  • 700 gm medium cut fillet
  • 3 tbsp Wadi Food olive oil
  • 2 cups Egyptian rice soaked in water
  • 1 potato cut into cubes
  • 1 tomato – minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon gingerbread
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink carnation
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 3 cups broth

Steps

  1. Cook meat cuts in olive oil until golden.
  2. Add onions and stir well.
  3. Pour the mixture into the oven bram, then add the potatoes, oranges, and minced tomatoes.
  4. Stir all with a fork and leave the bram aside.
  5. In a bowl mix the rice with spices well.
  6. Spread over meat and vegetables and add hot broth.
  7. Cover the bram and leave to simmer in a hot oven for 45 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fried nuts and parsley then it’s served.
